Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using R2up ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Service Description

R2up is a browser-based tool that enables users to upload files to Cloudflare R2 storage buckets. The service provides:

• Chunked file uploads for large files
• Progress tracking and monitoring
• Configurable upload settings
• Client-side credential management
• Resumable upload capabilities

2.1 Client-Side Operation

R2up operates entirely within your web browser. All file processing, credential storage, and upload operations are performed client-side. We do not store, process, or have access to your files or credentials.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Cloudflare Account Requirements

To use R2up, you must:

• Have a valid Cloudflare account with R2 storage enabled
• Provide valid R2 API credentials (Account ID, Access Key ID, Secret Access Key)
• Configure proper CORS settings for your R2 bucket
• Ensure your Cloudflare account has sufficient storage and bandwidth allowances

3.2 Acceptable Use

You agree to use R2up only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are prohibited from:

• Uploading illegal, harmful, or malicious content
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempting to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the service
• Using the service to infringe on intellectual property rights
• Overloading or attempting to disrupt the service

3.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you upload using R2up. This includes ensuring you have the right to upload and store such content, and that it complies with all applicable laws and Cloudflare's terms of service.

4. Privacy and Data Handling

4.1 No Data Collection

R2up does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, files, or credentials to our servers. All operations are performed locally in your browser.

4.2 Local Storage

Your Cloudflare credentials and configuration settings are stored locally in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third parties.

4.3 Third-Party Services

R2up communicates directly with Cloudflare's R2 API. Your use of Cloudflare services is subject to Cloudflare's terms of service and privacy policy.

5. Service Availability and Modifications

5.1 Service Availability

While we strive to maintain high availability, R2up is provided "as is" without guarantees of uptime or availability. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance or updates.

5.2 Service Modifications

5.3 Feature Changes

We may add, modify, or remove features from R2up at our discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes to users.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Service Ownership

R2up, including its design, code, and documentation, is proprietary software owned by CLOUDWERX LAB. All rights are reserved.

6.2 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use R2up for its intended purpose. This license may be revoked at any time.

6.3 Future Licensing

The current free license model may change in the future. We reserve the right to implement different licensing terms, including paid licensing options.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

7.1 No Warranties

R2up is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7.2 Limitation of Liability

In no event shall CLOUDWERX LAB be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

7.3 Maximum Liability

Our total liability for any claims related to R2up shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the service (currently $0, as the service is free).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CLOUDWERX LAB from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of R2up, including your violation of these Terms or any applicable laws.

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by User

You may stop using R2up at any time. Simply close your browser or navigate away from the service.

9.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to R2up immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where CLOUDWERX LAB operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of R2up after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and CLOUDWERX LAB regarding R2up and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
